The former Spice Girl launched her clothing line almost 15 years ago
For years, Victoria Beckham has been accused of only designing clothes for women (almost) as thin as she is.
But now, nearly a decade and a half after launching her fashion range, she has produced a line that runs up to size 18.
The former Spice Girl has added a collection called VB Body to her beleaguered label, which has racked up losses reaching tens of millions of pounds.
It includes 12 pieces for women ages 6-18 and comes in a range of colors.
A source close to the label told the Mail on Sunday: “Finally Victoria has caught up. It’s awesome and she is extremely proud of her new collection.
“There’s a brand new customer to buy her products, but let’s face it, it took her a while, but at least she’s turning things around.”
The range, which is available to buy on Ms Beckham’s website, includes a fitted mini dress priced at £490, a one-shoulder top at £350 and a cropped cardigan at £450, among other items.
All styles are available in black, white, brown, blush, green and red-orange.
Ms Beckham, 48 – who is a size six – surprised her fans last May by saying she thought being skinny was out of fashion.
She said: “I think women today want to look healthy and curvy. They want to have breasts and buttocks. It’s not about being a certain size. It’s about knowing who you are and being happy with who you are.
The range, which is available on Ms Beckham’s website, includes a one-shoulder top at £350 and a fitted skirt at £290, and goes up to size 18.
Despite her change of position, Ms Beckham’s husband David has revealed she has been eating the same food for the 25 years they have been together.
He said: “Since I met Victoria she only eats grilled fish and steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from it.
