Thursday has been a busy day on social media, all of you. Mizzou players work hard to make money, and it’s really great to watch. I thought I would take a look at what I encountered throughout the day. If I missed any let me know and I’ll update!

First, a few soccer players showed off their logos, including Tyler Macon and Martez Manuel.

Honestly, I have a hard time seeing the M with the black background. Am I the only one?

And here is the one from Martez Manuel. The part that I really, really, really like about Martez’s announcement? What he intends to do with the pile of money he earns. What a great human, you guys.

Although I am not a fan of Barstool Sports, I have to commend them for their support of varsity athletes with NIL. I lift them because A GROUP of Mizzou athletes have signed up to become bar stool athletes today, including:

Football: Ennis Rakestraw, Brady Cook, Will Norris, Boo Boo Smith, Jay Maclin, Drake Heismeyer, Daniel Hawthorne, Connor Tollison, Akayleb Evans, Kyran Montgomery, DJ Bullard, Barrett Bannister, Tyler Macon, Grant McKinniss, Jarrin McKeithen (who was also featured in this story to PM on Him and Coach Fletcher Rescuing a Driver Stranded in the Floodwaters of Providence)

Softball: Cayla Kessinger, Hatti Moore

Wrestling: Zach Elam, Allan Hart

Not only did Ennis Rakestraw, Jr sign up for it, but he’s also promoting a new YouTube channel.

A few others have signed up as influencers for Yoke Gaming, an app that allows fans to play video games face-to-face against their favorite athletes.

And in my favorite spon-con of the day, we turn to Drake Heismeyer. Although we laugh at this piece of [kansas] guy, Darren the one not to be named, he organized a book signing at Soft mushroom in Cottleville Thursday night and made two posts for local restaurants with the big hashtag # 69EatsLocal. Yours, Drake!

I am so happy that all of our Mizzou athletes can finally get what they have always deserved. Can’t wait to see what everyone is promoting!

While their names aren’t as well known as Trevor Lawrence or Zion Williamson, and their sports aren’t covered as much on TV, there are plenty of female college athletes whose social media fame makes them extremely marketable.

In some cases, they may have more earning potential than their male counterparts, because when it comes to branding, the number of fans engaged with an athlete on social media may be more important than their stats or their TV exposure. his sport.
