Milestone celebration coincides with framing of first building in multi-family and commercial redevelopment

DUNELEN, NJ, September 30, 2021 – The rain showers did not cool the spirits during a celebration of the first construction milestone at Dunellen station,Prism Capital Partners‘multi-family and commercial redevelopment of the former Art Color industrial facility at 100 South Washington Avenue in Dunellen. Prism leaders, Dunellen Borough officials and other key stakeholders gathered this week for an informal outdoor gathering marking the setting for the project’s first building.

When completed, Dunellen Station will feature 194 market-priced one and two-bedroom rental apartments, 58 units for low- and moderate-income residents and 10,000 square feet of street-level retail. The property will also include 130 townhouses for sale, which will be developed by K. Hovnanian Companies, which completed the acquisition of its portion of the site this month.
