Tory Burch Celebrates New Flagship Boutique With Chic Handbag Collection Inspired By Soho
All roads lead to SoHo … at least if you’re Tory Burch, it seems!
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, the fashion world’s hopeful moved to New York City, settling into an apartment in the iconic downtown artists enclave. Years later, in 2004, the area proved to be the perfect home for her very first boutique.
Today, one of the biggest names in the industry, Tory Burch is officially back in his old playground, opening a fabulous new flagship store at 151 Mercer Street.
“I couldn’t be more excited about our Mercer Street store. It’s an evolution of our retail aesthetic, and I loved the creative process, combining a modern space with decorative elements and details that are personal to me. The downtown location feels like a homecoming, just a five-minute walk from where we opened our first boutique on Elizabeth Street. “
To celebrate the stylish new location, the brand designed the 151 Mercer Collection, with eleven new handbags made in two unique shapes (a classic crescent and a deconstructed shoulder bag) and available in leather, suede, snakeskin and nylon.
Very easy cool girl, Carolyn Bessett Kennedy chic, right?
Personally, we are dying this model in Herb Garden green suede. Pure perfection!
Oh, and did we mention that the Mercer Street location will also feature an exclusive, limited-edition series of cult favorite Lee Radziwill Double branded bags that can be personalized with a monogram and date?
If you are looking for handbags, definitely run, don’t step for your own – each bag will be numbered as there are only 25 of each style!
